Protection parishioners take up a weekly offering for local charities and mission work to demonstrate Christ's love. Offerings are rotated among the Hope Pregnancy Center, Alpha Alternative Pregnancy Center, International Orthodox Christian Charities, and the Orthodox Christian Mission Center.
Community Outreach:
Hope Pregnancy Center - HPC is a Christ-centered ministry committed to upholding the santity of life by providing HOPE and help through biblical counseling, education and assistance in the areas of crises pregnancy, post-abortion trauma and purity.
Alpha Alternative Pregnancy Center - To provide a safe, confidential faith-based organization which ministers to those making life choices that affect their sexual health."
International Orthodox Christian Charities - offers emergency relief and development programs to those in need worldwide, without discrimination, and strengthens the capacity of the Orthodox Church to so respond.
Orthodox Christian Mission Center - The Orthodox Christian Mission Center helps the Orthodox faithful of North America answer their call to make disciples of all nations.
Focus North America - FOCUS North America serves the hungry, thirsty, stranger, naked, sick and imprisoned by providing Food, Occupation, Clothing, Understanding, and Shelter.
